Anthony J. Kilker
SHENANDOAH - A Mount Carmel man charged in connection with a Feb. 24 burglary in Shenandoah had charges against him held for court during a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Anthony J. Kilker.
Scott Castellano, 42, of 13 N. Quince St., was arrested by Shenandoah police Patrolman Travis Bowman and charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft and receiving stolen property.
Kilker determined the commonwealth proved a prima facie case and ordered all four charges against Castellano held for Schuylkill County Court.
Bowman charged Castellano with entering a home at 214 N. Catherine St. about 5:30 p.m. and trying to steal a refrigerator with the help of another man and a woman.
Bowman said Castellano did not have permission to enter the home and remove the refrigerator that was valued at $799.
