Lansford
The Lansford Live Events Committee has announced the cancelation of the Music in the Park summer concert series at Kennedy Park for July and August due to uncertainty surrounding public gatherings caused by the corona virus pandemic. The committee said in a statement safety is the utmost priority. The series will resume in 2021 with the first concert set for Sunday, June 6.
Minersville
The time of the Minersville fireworks display has changed. The original time for the fireworks was between 8:30 and 9 p.m. Monday, July 6. Mayor Sean Palmer has announced that the fireworks will now start between 9:15 and 9:30 p.m.
Pottsville
The inaugural LGBTQ+ celebration, aimed at education, will be held from noon to dusk on Saturday, June 27, at the Gen. George Joulwan East Side Park and amphitheater during Pride Month. The event will include food trucks, music, speakers and entertainment. All are welcome.

The Schuylkill County Society for Crippled Children has announced that the pediatric orthopedic clinic previously announced for Friday, July 10, has been postponed.
Ringtown
The St. Paul’s United Church of Christ Community Picnic at 100 E. Main St. is set for 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 27, served “COVID-19-style,” according to an event release. It will be takeout-only with people driving or walking up to place their orders at curbside. All are welcome.
Shenandoah
