TREMONT - A Lebanon County man is headed to Schuylkill County Court after a judge decided Thursday that enough evidence existed to support two charges of theft against him.
Charles W. Haas, 67, of 318 N. Carpenter St., Schaefferstown, faces two counts of theft. Magisterial District Judge David J. Rossi ordered those charges held for court after a preliminary hearing.
Cass-Foster Township police allege Haas committed the thefts on Jan. 12 in Cass Township.
Haas is free on $5,000 unsecured bail pending further court action.

Brenda L. Anspach, 61, of 16 Natale Court, Pine Grove; driving under the influence, disregarding traffic lane and careless driving; right to preliminary hearing waived, charges bound over for court.
Devin J. Moyer, 21, of 723 Howard Ave., Pottsville; accident involving damage to attended vehicle or property, driving under suspension, disregarding traffic lane, failure to drive at a safe speed, careless driving, failure to stop and give information or render aid, failure to notify police of accident, giving false information, violation of hazard regulation and seat belt violation; right to preliminary hearing waived, driving under suspension charge withdrawn, other charges bound over for court.
