Motorcyclist

injured in crash

STRAUSSTOWN - A Myerstown man suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle collision Saturday evening at Main and Oak streets in this Berks County borough, police said.

State police at Hamburg said Peter J. Hermley, 18, of East Greenville, pulled his 1992 Toyota Paseo from a stop sign at the intersection and into the path of a 2012 Harley-Davidson Nightster driven by Conrad L. Musselmen, 22, of Myerstown, who was eastbound on Main Street, at 7:52 p.m.

Police said Musselman, who was wearing a helmet, was thrown from his motorcycle and suffered minor scrapes.

Police said Hermley and his passengers, a 17-year-old girl from Bernville and Cassandra C. Taft, 18, of Hamburg, were wearing seat belts and were not hurt.

Police said the motorcycle was towed from the scene and the car was able to be driven from the scene.

Police said Hermley was cited for a stop sign violation.
