Ryan Township Supervisor Champ Holman has been appointed to serve on the Nominations Committee of the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors.
The Nominations Committee selects the association’s officers and members of the executive board for election by delegates at the association’s annual educational conference.
The Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors is committed to preserving and strengthening township government, the group said in a release. The association represents Pennsylvania’s 1,454 townships of the second class, which have more residents — 5.4 million people — than any other type of political subdivision in the commonwealth.
