Man, woman face
charges after fight
GILBERTON - State police at Frackville charged a man and woman with harassment after they had a fight over money Friday, police said Saturday.
At 1 p.m. at 333 Main St., Heidi Ann Hruniuk, 30, and Kyle Charles Kaminsky, 36, got into an argument and Heidi struck Kyle in the head, then he tackled her to the ground, police said.
Charges will be filed in the office of Magisterial District Judge Christina Hale, Frackville, police said.
Vehicle stolen
from trail lot
ORWIGSBURG - State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the theft of a vehicle from an Appalacian Trail parking lot Friday on Blue Mountain Road in West Brunswick Township.
The victims are a group from Bordentown, N.J., including Martha Pywowariw, 51, who owns the 2001 gold and silver Jeep Grand Cherokee, and Larissa Pywowariw, 18, Owen Alustiza, 19, Austin Alustiza, 20, and a 17-year-old female, who owned items, including cellphones and wallets, which were in the vehicle when it was stolen, police said.
At 5:50 p.m. Friday, the group placed the keys to the vehicle in a personal bag then walked to a swimming area. After swimming for 10 minutes, they walked back to where they left the bag and found it was gone. Then they realized the vehicle had been stolen too, police said.
The vehicle is bearing a New Jersey registration, X89DEK. There is a V8 emblem on the side of the vehicle and the headlights should be fogged, police said.

Equipment stolen

FRIEDENSBURG - State police at Schuylkill Haven said a thief stole a green and yellow 2005 John Deere gas-powered weed wacker from the back of an unlocked vehicle in Wayne Township either Thursday night for Friday morning.
Police said the incident occurred between 9:30 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday at 404 Frieden Manor. The owner is David Kolbe, 58, of Schuylkill Haven, police said.
