FRACKVILLE - Schuyl-kill County Idol XI is down to three.
The Schuylkill Mall announced the finalists of the 11th annual competition on its website at 3 p.m. Wednesday. The final round of competition Tuesday will feature Rich Harper, 20, of Cumbola; Cody Wiley, 23, of Pottsville; and Autumn Maurer, 19, of Frackville.
Six contestants performed three songs each Tuesday evening, including one using this year's theme of "Billboard No. 1 Hits." The contest kicked off with 17 singers July 2. The competition was narrowed to 10 that night by the three judges.
A winner will be announced after the remaining competitors take the stage at 6 p.m. Tuesday in center court at the mall.
The winner will receive a $1,000 Schuylkill Mall gift certificate, a $100 gift certificate from The Bon-Ton, a professional studio photo shoot by Michael's Photography, a caricature package by Angie Jordan, a makeover by the Beverly Carlton Salon, a $20 Kmart gift card, a $50 mall gift certificate from McCann's School of Business & Technology and will perform at the Schuylkill County Fair. The contest is sponsored by Pepsi, Avalon and the Frackville Rotary.
