n Cumbola: A soup kitchen sponsored by New Life In Christ Ministries is held from 1 to 5 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays in March at the church, 219 Market St. Meals are free; donations are accepted. For more information, call 570-516-1110.

n Fountain Springs: The North Schuylkill Elementary School PTO will sponsor a Chinese auction spring fling from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 12 in the high school cafeteria. The auction, according to a release, will benefit the elementary school. There will be gift cards, baskets and some large prizes including a 50-inch HDTV, American Girl of the Year, Kindle Fire HD and $380 Great Wolf Lodge Gift card. All are welcome. n Frackville: Homemade Easter eggs are available from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday until April 10 at St. John Polish National Catholic Church, 414 W. Oak St. People have a choice of peanut butter, coconut cream and cherry. The cost is $9 per dozen.

n New Ringgold: The new site for the New Ringgold Area Food Pantry is at Christ Church McKeansburg, 6 S. Race St. The site contact is Jason Schally of Schuylkill Community Action at 570-622-1995. The pantry distributes from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. the second Saturday of even months. It serves New Ringgold, McKeansburg, Port Clinton, Drehersville, Snyders, Andreas, East Bruswick Township and parts of West Penn Township.

n Port Carbon: The East Norwegian Township Fire Company, 16 Sunshine St., Dieners Hill, sponsors Lenten dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Fridays at the firehouse. Dinner varieties include fish, shrimp, crabcakes, fries or mac and cheese, choice of vegetables, bread and butter. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for seniors 55-plus. A $5 senior special includes fishsticks, mac and cheese, vegetable, bread and butter. Patrons may eat at the firehouse or take meals out. For more information, call 570-449-5998.

n Pottsville: The Pottsville Area High School Drama Club will present "Oliver! The Musical" at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. March 30 in the high school auditorium. Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens. The musical is based on Charles Dickens' novel "Oliver Twist." For more information, call 570-691-4602.

n Saint Clair: The National Multiple Sclerosis Society's Team Success with MS will sponsor a Chinese auction from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 5 at the Saint Clair Lions Club facility, 259 McCord Ave., next to the community swimming pool. A browse and bid will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., when the auction will begin. Food will be available. For more information, call Cindy at 570-573-3454.

n Saint Clair: The Saint Clair Lions Club will sponsor a "Bling & Fling Bingo" on May 4 at the Lions site on McCord Avenue to benefit the Sexual Assault Resource & Counseling Center of Schuylkill County. Doors will open at noon and games will begin at 1 p.m. Tickets in advance are $25 per person and $30 at the door and include 20 games of bingo, 16 regular and 4 specials. Seating will be limited to 125. In addition to bingo, there will be door prizes and special raffle prizes plus a 50/50. For tickets, call Phyllis Orthaus at 570-366-2632.

n Shenandoah: Pro wrestling will return to the Columbia Hose Company, Centre Street and Stadium Road, at 5 p.m. April 5 to benefit Shenandoah resident Mike Cooney, who lost everything in a Jan. 7 house fire.
