SHENANDOAH — A 31-year-old Ashland man charged with indecently assaulting a child in Ashland on Jan. 13 waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Anthony J. Kilker.
Jake E. Shuttlesworth, 1402 W. Centre St., was arrested by Ashland police Patrolman Daniel Weikel and charged with corruption of minors, simple assault and harassment. By waiving his right to a hearing, Shuttlesworth will now have to answer to all three charges against him in Schuylkill County Court.
Weikel charged Shuttlesworth with holding down a 14-year-old boy in the shower, shaving his body parts and also washing the boy.

Brendon J. Hasara, 45, of 1025 E. Pine St., Mahanoy City — withdrawn: simple assault and harassment.
Jeremy M. Cammarn, 31, of 114 Water St., New Philadelphia — withdrawn: simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, harassment, disorderly conduct and strangulation.
Jesse Michael Morit, 30, of 322 W. Cherry St., Shenandoah — withdrawn: simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct.
Heather M. Weingard, 26, of 16 N. Lehigh St., Shenandoah — held for court: possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Cheryl Ann Bloss, 42, of 222 W. Centre St., Shenandoah — waived for court: possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Dylan J. Clark, 20, of 507 W. Spruce St., Mahanoy City — waived for court: burglary, criminal trespass, and loitering and prowling at night.
Benjamin F. Vadiz, 46, of 43 Lost Creek Road, Box 91, Lost Creek — held for court: possession of a controlled substance, altered or misbranded controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, public drunkenness and soliciting a ride.
Gerald R. Metzger, 39, of 35 E. Coal St., Shenandoah — waived for court: possession of a firearm prohibited, possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Stephen C. Zendrosky, 29, of 1034 Centre St., Ashland — waived for court: DUI-controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
