A bingo benefit for Vicki Brassington, who is pregnant and fighting lung cancer, will be held July 30 at West End Fire Company, 700 W. Mahanoy Ave. Doors will open at noon and bingo will begin at 2 p.m. Admission is $20, which includes 18 games and door prizes. Holders of advance tickets will be eligible for extra door prizes. Specials, jackpot and 50/50s will also be available, as will mini-Chinese auction chances. People are urged to “come early” for food, homemade baked goods and the Chinese auction. St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church will have a spaghetti dinner beginning at 4 p.m. July 27 in the parish center cafeteria, 538 Sunbury St. The cost is $9 for adults and $5 for children under age 10. A Tri-County Youth Football meeting is set for 8 p.m. July 25 at the Mount Hope AMVETS. All teams must have a pee-wee and mini coach attend. Registration for the 2017 season will be Aug. 24 at the AMVETS. All paperwork must be in order, according to a release.

The Morgan Family Reunion will be held July 23 at Valley View Park beginning with registration at 10 a.m. A ham and turkey dinner will be provided at noon by the committee. People are asked to bring a covered dish and their beverage. Music will be by disc jockey Jonathan with entertainment by The Magic of Miss Ashlyn.
