Binghamton
Steven M. Boyer, a son of John G. and Paula M. Boyer, Monroe, North Carolina, and a 2008 graduate of Pottsville Area High School, graduated with a doctor of philosophy degree in chemistry from Binghamton University, New York.
While at Binghamton, Steven received several awards, including the Lois D. Mackey First Year Teaching Award, the Keith Innes Summer Research Award, Binghamton University Graduate Student Excellence In Teaching Award and Binghamton University Graduate Student Excellence In Service And Outreach Award.
Steven will pursue a career teaching chemistry at Ashland University, Ashland, Ohio.
Steven is a 2012 graduate of Elizabethtown College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry.
Alvernia
Nina Theresa Arant, Schuylkill Haven, earned a master of business administration degree in community service and economic leadership from Alvernia University, Reading.
She also earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minor in economics, cum laude, in spring 2016.
Lehigh
