It is the largest privately held force in eastern Pennsylvania and employs up to 200 law enforcement personnel. All of its employees are screened and trained above the standards set by commonwealth law, Kennedy told the Rotarians. He also said he has a history with the Minersville Rotary (now part of the Pottsville Rotary) as a member of the InterAct Club at Nativity BVM High School. The focus of his presentation involved CPR and the need to quickly recognize the signs of cardiac arrest, saying “Push hard, push fast” is a slogan for applying CPR. He demonstrated techniques for using CPR and said Lehigh Law has an office in Pottsville, soon to be on Laurel Boulevard at a site that will allow the agency to host up to 50 people in classes.
