In recent Schuylkill County Court action, Judge Charles M. Miller accepted guilty pleas from, and, pursuant to agreements between prosecutors and defendants, imposed the indicated sentences on, these people:
Justin V. Able-Lewis, 28, of Allentown, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility; preparation of presentence investigation ordered, sentencing scheduled for 2 p.m. Sept. 29. Prosecutors withdrew three additional counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of a small amount of marijuana.
Ashley L. Skotek, 28, of Tresckow, three counts of possession of a controlled substance and one each of possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia; four years probation, $100 payment to the Substance Abuse Education Fund, $50 payment to the Criminal Justice Enhancement Account, $50 bench warrant fee and $302 restitution to the state police crime laboratory in Bethlehem. Prosecutors withdrew charges of driving under the influence, failure to drive at a safe speed and driving without a license.
Jonathan M. Tasakovic, 33, of Ridgewood, New York; delivery of a controlled substance; one to two years in a state correctional institution, $100 SAEF payment, $50 CJEA payment, $465 restitution to the state police crime laboratory in Bethlehem, $10,000 forfeiture and submission of a DNA sample to law enforcement authorities, with sentence effective at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 19. Prosecutors withdrew three additional counts of delivery of a controlled substance and two counts of conspiracy.
Jacob S. Timothy, 33, of Kulpmont; DUI and no rear lights; six months in the intermediate punishment program, $1,025 in fines, $300 SAEF payment and $60 restitution to Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street. Prosecutors withdrew a charge of failure to keep right.
Cesar A. Toledano, 27, of Wilkes-Barre; DUI; one to five years in prison, $100 SAEF payment, $50 CJEA payment, $60 restitution to Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street and 30 hours community service. Prosecutors withdrew a charge of failure to use low beam.
April A. Tovar, 38, of Shenandoah; retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia; preparation of presentence investigation ordered, sentencing scheduled for 2 p.m. Sept. 29.
All defendants who were sentenced must pay costs as a part of their sentences.
