Vanessa Biddle, a fourth-grader at John S. Clarke Elementary Center, Pottsville, had her story, "What are You Thankful For?" published in the November issue of Highlights magazine.
She studies ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop at Dalinda Dance Studio, Saint Clair, and is a daughter of Tom and Pam Biddle, Pottsville, and a granddaughter of Linda Shoup, Shenandoah, and Lois "Jane" Biddle, Hebron, Maine.
Modeling grad
Dominique Dudash, daughter of Mike and Lynn Dudash, Pottsville, graduated Nov. 3 from Barbizon School of Modeling, Lemoyne. She plans to pursue a career part-time in modeling.
A 2013 graduate of Pottsville Area High School, she would like to study journalism or become a public affairs specialist in the future.
She works at Palermo's Restaurant, Minersville.
